Commenting Challenge Day 3: Social Media, Websites

The only thing I use is Facebook and not for my blog, just yet. I have a twitter account, but between Facebook I just don't think I need to update both. I am hoping to learn some new things from others about blogging. I can't seem to get everything figured out like, buttons, and tabs at the top, cutesy signatures. I would LOVE help in these areas. :) 

Websites I visit daily are Amazon, Pinterest, Facebook, Baby Center and that's about all. 

Anyone who is willing to help me out, I would greatly appreciate it! My husband is very knowledgeable about technology, but not in the blogging department.

A Day in the Life of Maa-Maa

Today I was going to blog about some new things I have done in my kitchen, but I have a little girl who is under the weather as well as myself. Hopefully, I can gather my stuff to post a blog on cake balling. Keep watching!

Just a little about me: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my family! I enjoy creating memories and turning our house into a home. We just recently moved into a new house and getting ready for baby #2 to arrive. We have lots to do to make our house a "home" before he arrives. I really try to be the best wife and mother that I can be. I want my home to be full of laughter, love, memories and above all a tight, close-knit family that is there for one another.

Here is a picture of my family of three, soon to be four. We also have three dogs that are a big part of our family.

Commenting Challenge Day 2

Day 2 of the Commenting Challenge from Jenna's Journey. I started blogging here and there a few months ago. It was mainly a journal for me to keep online, but I would like to start sharing recipes, how-tos, and just a day in the life of me. I haven't quite figured out how to get everything up and running and should I say, "interesting".

I am going to blog about family because well, it is the most important thing to me. I am going to start posting recipes, tips, etc. I have been baking and creating cake balls quite a bit for showers, birthdays, gifts, etc. So, that is one of the many things I am looking forward to sharing.

I LOVE kitchen gadgets, tools, etc. I am constantly buying new items for my kitchen. Some of my favorite kitchen gadgets/tools are:

I recently organized my pantry and I am not quite finished, but it's a start. I found OXO brand 16" turn tables for the corners. I have also used baskets to organize other items. I bought some under the counter wire baskets to put my ziplocs, foil, wax paper, etc. My next purchase will be OXO POP containers for pasta, beans, etc. Here is a picture of what I have started and will post a complete picture once it is finished.

Commenting Challenge Day 1: About Me

Hello! I am Christy, the wife of Beau and mommy to Kinsley and soon will be the mommy to Witten.  Beau and I have been married for a little over two years. We got home from our honeymoon (a few weeks delayed after our wedding) and found out we were expecting!!! We were thrilled and had been trying about a month. Our little Kinsley is 16 months old and we are expecting a son, Witten in Sept. I am a former Kindergarten teacher and I do miss it from time to time. However, I made the decision to stay home with Kinsley once she was born. My days are nonstop and crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.  We can't wait to meet our son in September and I am sure life will get a little bit crazier, but I love this thing called life. I am brand new to the blogging world if you can't tell from how plain and boring my page looks right now. However, I do plan on getting it up and running real soon.
I follow Jenna's Journey and love all of her recipes, how to and favorite gadgets. I hope to meet some new blogging friends and learn a lot through the experience. Wow, I didn't realize how hard writing about yourself can be. :) Happy Blogging!
