These were a big hit on Easter! These are similar to haystacks, but changed a little to make them nests. They were super easy and very good. Make them for your next Spring or Easter gathering!
Ingredients:
12 oz chocolate chips (I used milk chocolate)
1 cup of creamy nut butter (I used peanut butter)
10 oz of chow mein noodles
chocolate eggs (I used cadbury)
Line a large baking sheet with wax paper. In a 3 qt saucepan, pour in your chips and your nut butter. Stir constantly on low for about 5 minutes. Pour your chow mein noodles in a large mixing bowl. Once your chocolate is melted, pour over the noodles and stir very well to mix together. Drop spoonfuls onto the wax paper (I used a 2 tbs measuring spoon). Mold into nest shapes and drop 2-4 eggs on. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set. Store in an airtight container. Makes about 24
Enjoy!
