Easter Weekend Wrap

This past weekend was busy! We had something to do each day and I also hosted Easter at my house this year. First off, we took the kiddos to see the Easter Bunny on Friday. They were a little afraid, but sat in his lap long enough for a picture.

Saturday morning, we went to the annual egg hunt at Lake Country. We met the cousins.... It's always so much fun and has craft booths, Easter Bunny pics, rides, etc. The kids really enjoy it. We got eggs and the kids were off... the were on the go nonstop. They did train rides, bounce houses, pony rides, petting zoo,  & crafts. It was a blast! We packed a lunch to bring and took a lunch break and got right back to the fun.

This is the group shot of the cousins (Anderson wasn't here yet).

Aunt Tanya & Anderson

Kinsley had a blast on the slides.

Carly & Kinsley-- besties! These sweet girls are so close and love each other.

Took a little break to eat lunch. Witten wanted to get his face painted like a duck because he saw Aiden with his. Kinsley wanted no part of face painting.

He finally decided to give the big slides a chance and loved it.

He has never wanted anything to do with riding a pony or horse, but today he gave it a shot. He really enjoyed himself!

This girl LOVES horses & ponies.

My sweet girl in the petting zoo. She has a heart for animals.

Lacing beads...

My babies and me on the carousel.

The kids took a short nap when we got home. Then, they woke up and we colored our Easter eggs and grilled dinner outside. We decided to go ahead and eat dinner outside. It was nice, but once we got in Kinsley's little eyes were red and were allergies were in full force.

She was proud of this one because she wrote her name on it.

Buddy was hoping someone would feed him an egg.

I bet you can't tell which color is his favorite. This boy LOVES green.

Beau was grilling dinner and the kiddos wanted to watch.

The kiddos went to bed early on this night and I got busy making desserts for Easter. I decided to try a coconut cake and make some chocolate bird nests. They turned out really cute. The cake was most definitely a hit.

Easter Sunday, we woke up and the kids got their baskets from the bunny. It was rainy and cold, not the best weather for Easter Sunday, but we still had a fun time.

The Easter Bunny came!

Beau got me some pretty tulips! My favorite flower.

Daddy made the kids bunny pancakes!

This boy ate candy out of his basket nonstop. He was WIRED!

Kinsley's allergies were really bothering her.

LOVE all of these kiddos!

After everyone left, we sat on the couch and watched The Little Mermaid and Witten played on his ipad.

Kinsley fell asleep on my lap.

Maggie was exhausted too.

We had the best weekend! It was so much fun and I am glad my kiddos have so many cousins to make memories with.
